PRACTICE AREA: Youth Investments

Designing sustainable business and financial products for young people is very relevant in most places where youth unemployment is more than thirty per cent. Areas of expertise include design, implementation and management of pilot programs; new product testing; efficiency analysis of new innovations; effective social programming techniques for banks; linking enterprise learning into vocational programs.

Results: Creator of MEDA’s youth and microfinance training package for MFIs making micro loans to young entrepreneurs (2005-2006).  Led the proposal writing and strategy of a successful youth and microfinance bid (multi-million) in Egypt and Morocco to Master Card Foundation by MEDA (2008).
